Roll 2 - Still getting the hang of it.

Things have gotten busy since I last wrote here. But I still intend to use this website regularly so I’m making time to do so! I haven’t given up on film photography just yet. I’ve had a second roll developed and wanted to share the results. I’ve come to realize two things. One, film photography is much harder than I thought, it could be my camera, but of the 36 exposures one roll of film provides… These are the only six that turned out pretty decent. The other 30 were either completely out of focus or under/over exposed, despite the camera being in auto… What?

The other thing I realized is that in order to be happy with the photos I’m sharing on this site, I need to bring that camera with me wherever I go. I don’t know if you can tell but in the first two images, it looks like I went out and enjoyed a lovely music venue. Sure I was there for work, but it still counts! But the other four, are clearly just me hanging out bored in my apartment. My dog, Benji, is probably like stop taking photos of me and go outside. Then the parking lot from my window is also just lazy, but the last one… is a photo of ANOTHER photo! Laziness at it’s finest! The next roll I share, will be interesting and adventurous… I hope…

UPDATE: In case anyone was thinking. “Hey! You get that black and white roll developed yet that you dropped off months ago and talked about in a post a while back?” No. No I haven’t.

Stay tuned cause Roll 3 has much more interesting subjects in it so far! Let’s just hope they turn out well!
